• a 5 hour drive to Newport, OR (except it was an 8 hour ride home because of the Oregon State game traffic)
• A brief stay at the La Quinta because you didn't check in until 11:30 pm and checked out at 4:30 am SHARP.
• a 4 mile hike in the dark only to realize that you have to climb all four miles back up when you are finished.
• Finding out that the perfect fishing hole was at the lowest level seen
• and only one person catching a jack salmon (or an immature one)
