The end of Fall!

 We had such a beautiful Fall!!  It was warm and the leaves changed colors and then fell.  Some years it all seems to happen so fast or it is really windy or snowy, and this year was perfect!

 The boys really wanted to jump in the leaves.  Since the leaves fell so gradually, Matt cleaned them up in smaller shifts.  This was the last clean-up and they had to savor every jump!

Outnumbered!!

 We had two families over recently for a dinner party and all of the children lined up on the couch (minus the two babies.  It was the perfect shot!!  Then we tried to get another good one after adding the two babies in and it was still cute but not the perfect picture!!  We all had a great evening even though the adults were outnumbered 10:6!

Halloween--Brought to you by the letter 'P' and the number '3'

 The final day of October this year was absolutely beautiful!!  And we had a great time Trick-or-Treating.  The boys ask if they could do this EVERY DAY!!  No, I reply.

And after not much thought, John Paul and Ethan decided that they both wanted to be pirates and Naomi was dressed as a little piggie since my sister had this adorable costume.

 Then came the picture time.  I didn't think I was asking for too much when I wanted a picture of all three of them.  Just next year, I will do it before Halloween night as the boys were too distracted with all of the neighbors running through the neighborhood to even look at the camera.  BELOW, Ethan is giving his best "Arrr" although he looks like a beast!!  And incredibly angry.  He's not.

 And this one is my favorite!  You can tell the boys minds are anywhere but taking pictures, yet my Naomi is just a-smiling away and sitting so perfectly.  This one will definitely make the wedding slideshow.

Carving Pumpkins

 On a beautiful, Sunday afternoon in October, the kids and I carved out our pumpkins for this year.  The boys had fun telling me what to carve and cleaning out the "guts."

 Naomi just played and practiced her walking a little bit.

 

 

 

 

 Of course, I had to get my artistic shot of the seeds and JP's hand for Andi.

 And the glowing finished projects.  I asked what we should name them, and they came up with "John Paul and Ethan."  So original, boys. So original.
