Spencer's First Communion

One of the wonderful things about being home this time was that we were able to celebrate my nephew, Spencer's First Communion. It was so wonderful to be there with him. He is just such a holy, smart, and fun kid!

All eight grandchildren! Ethan didn't like being the token lap baby. I really can't blame him being upset. I probably would be too if someone was holding me like this!
The whole family--minus Mike and Matt.

One of the "big kids"

Ethan thinks he is one of the big kids. It doesn't matter what it is, but if one of the other kids has it, then he DEMANDS it! If Grandpa says hi to John Paul, he will grunt and wave his hands and kick his feet until Grandpa says hi to Ethan! He has changed so much in this past month. He is pulling himself to standing and starting to move around things. He claps, waves bye-bye, and just started raising his hands for "So Big". I just can't believe how different he is!

A couple of nights ago, the "big kids" were enjoying a sherbet push-up. (Remember those things?) And of course, Ethan had to have his own! At one point, he dropped it on the ground, and while I went inside to wash it off, he was hyperventilate-crying because he wanted it back and was so mad! I tell you!
"I'll take this."

Whoa, tractor!

"Whoa, Tractor!" is a common phrase for John Paul these days, and rightfully so! It is planting season, and baling season and just plain ol' farming season so there are a lot of tractors around.
My dad has been really good about taking John Paul out with him. Last night he stayed out on the tractor with Papa for about an hour!

This was Ethan's first photo op with the tractor. I think he likes it.
Gotta get mom in on the picture. Should've showered....oh, maybe, I did.

Our little cuties!

Ethan has become quite the little clapper lately.

Here's a shout out to Daddy. We miss you!!

Fun Times!

My mom's flowers are so beautiful this spring! It has been really rainy so the vegetation is blossoming!
Ethan enjoyed the sun and the grass!
" Can eat this?" --Ethan
He is such a fun lovin' baby!!

I told Blake to make a funny face and this was the result!
John Paul and his funny face!
Miss Lilly Mae!!

This is a classic picture from my parents house. I can't even count how many pictures I have of us growing up and climbing on this gate. We have some with friends, cousins, neighbors, and now it is carrying over to the next generation.
