On Sunday morning, we woke up to beautiful snowflakes falling in our yard. And by the time we left for church at 10:30 am, there was about 6 inches of snow on the ground. It was such a beautiful sight to see all of the evergreen trees adorned with a beautiful layer of snow, especially on this first Sunday of Advent. Of course, it rained later in the day (and has been raining ever since!) so all of our beautiful white cover is gone. Maybe it will snow again for Christmas...
