We started the morning with John Paul and Matt reading the newspaper while Julie finished up breakfast. We had Kuchen, which is a German specialty that is traditional in Matt's family.
This just spells disaster, doesn't, it????
Matt was pretty excited about his Sears gift cards and can't wait to go shopping when he returns.
Julie shared the excitement as she unwrapped her meat fork and homemade Mixer cover for her Kitchenaide.

He was pretty excited to open the first one or two, but he didn't keep up his unwrapping steam! In fact, he found much joy in shaking a box with Matt's gift card in it.
And we had a White Christmas! What a treat!
