The Bridge of Douglas County

Bridges just may be our thing! The three cities that we have lived in have had great pedestrian bridges. So we just had to check out the one here in downtown Omaha.

The three men in my life:
It is a pretty cool pedestrian bridge that connects Nebraska to Iowa and also a huge bike trail system.
On the bridge, we saw many other bicyclists, pedestrians, wedding vows being exchanged, ski boats in the Missouri River, a hot dog/sno cone vendor, a construction site with tractors and excavators, and then we ended up in Iowa where we found this little park.
My prediction: John Paul will be an engineer like his daddy. He loves to figure out how things work.
Oh, and when we returned back to Nebraska, we just HAD to visit this fun little fountain on the other side.
His squeals were so funny! And then he would trot away from it.
Ethan didn't get to enjoy the fountain. Instead, he enjoyed a snooze.
