We thought we would teach John Paul how to use the Baby Bjorn so he can carry his "baby" around while Mom carries the new arrival around.

I don't think you're supposed to let the baby fall side ways.

Then he was "helping" plant some grass and some flowers this afternoon. He really enjoyed the wheel barrel ride.

And planting the flowers in the flowerboxes. However, it was a hard lesson to learn that you can't actually get in the flower box (like a sand box) and that "helping" doesn't consist of taking the potting soil out of the box.
