For Memorial Day, we headed up north to retrieve our children and to spend some quality time with Matt's side of the family. Naomi also needed some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa after the boys had their week with them.
Ethan and Matt enjoying some golf on this cool, but gorgeous day. I just love the red barns and the green grass!
John Paul loved the chicks. They were getting pretty big, so they needed to be moved to the bigger section of the chicken coop. JP just jumped right in there and scooped up a chick! He definitely did not get this from his mother!
Ethan's skittishness is a little more like me!
Scooping chicken manure.
Self portait. Yep, the only picture of me that I got.
As annoying as dandelions can be, they sure looked pretty and kept the kids busy!
And can be turned into a great accessory!
The wagon was a big hit! Here is Ethan pulling Joseph.
And John Paul pulling Ethan.
And Joseph *pulling* Ethan.
Naomi loved all of the attention. It was fun to hang out with Chris and Rachel too!
Elaine, foraging for firewood.
Ethan playing frisbee with Grandpa. We even pulled out the Beer Pole game and played a few matches.
