Matt and I had a rare opportunity to attend a wedding without kids! Wait, I mean with only the baby!! It just seems like we are without children when we only have the baby.
We met Grandma and two aunts in Sioux Falls, SD. And after spending an evening at a waterpark and a night in a hotel, we parted ways and sent the boys up to North Dakota for a whole WEEK! Matt, I, and Naomi came later, just before Christmas.
So while they were playing in the snow, decorating the Christmas tree, and doing other really fun stuff with Grandma and Grandpa, we flew to Denver to attend Wendy and Sean's beautiful wedding. Wendy and I have been friends for over 12 years now!! And it was such an honor to attend her wedding!
Matt's cousin, Ann, was also at the wedding, and they had to take a picture together to keep with the tradition of the weddings they attend, they get a picture of the two of them.
We flew in Saturday morning and flew out Sunday evening, but we did manage to meet up with some friends that we did not get to see at the wedding. Below is former FOCUS team UND with baby Naomi. Left-right: Deacon Brian will be ordained to the priesthood in May. Laura is expecting her first baby in June. And just by coincidence (or more likely God's providence) Dave just moved to Denver a few weeks earlier otherwise we would have been missing a very important part of our team!
