We sold the house on Santa Maria Lane
It's sad to say we won't see her again.
But oh, the memories she did give
Ones we will remember as long as we live.
Like the cozy fires that warmed our feet
And the dining room where we came to eat.
And the kitchen where meals were preparedLike the times with friends that we once shared.
How the sun shone so brightly in the mornAnd remembering the days in which our children were born.
The backyard that contained countless hours of funMemories in the rain, in the snow, and in the sun.
The hot tub was such a nice little treatAnd on our back deck pattered many little feet.
We sold our home on Santa Maria LaneOh, how sad we won't see her again.
But it is not the house or the rooms or the yard we will rememberIt is the photos and friendships and memories we will treasure.

i am glad you sold your home, but it does make me feel like you will never have a reason to return to WA...
