Child of God

 We celebrated the Sacrament of Baptism for Naomi just two weeks after she was born.  We had set the date back in early September and when she was arriving past her due date, we began to wonder if we would have a baby to baptize when the date rolled around.

 This is Deacon Bill.  However, the picture is courtesy of my nephew, Spencer.  Spencer borrowed Grandma's camera and was snapping pictures right and left.  He stepped out in front of the deacon and snapped this picture paparazzi style.  It was pretty funny!

 Naomi cried the ENTIRE baptism.  Seriously, the whole thing with pauses only to breathe.

What a special day!  Thanks for everyone who made the trip to celebrate Naomi's Baptism with us.  It meant so much to Matt and I to have you be a part of welcoming Naomi into the Christian faith.
