Sometimes I get the crazy ideas in my head! I decided for Mardi Gras this year, that I would make a King's Cake. Yup. Never made one before and actually had never even eaten a piece of one before! I modified the recipe to what I had on had, and it basically became a sweet yeast dough with a cinnamon/brown sugar filling. Then I shaped it into a ring and baked. Added some cream cheese frosting in the traditional purple/yellow/green colors and topped it with some colored sugars. It was tasty!
