John Paul and I took a little detour on our way to Kansas and stopped in Denver, Colorado to visit a few friends. We stayed with Elizabeth and Chris, and their son Jonathon. John Paul is only a week older than Jonathon and the boys were best friends! Every morning when they would see each other, the fun and excitement would begin. They really couldn't wait to play together. And follow each other and occasionally get in each other's space. Chris and Elizabeth also hosted a little get together and invited some of my other friends from the area over for the evening. It was great to see all of them! Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures on that Friday night.

Out for a walk on a sunny, snowy morning! The boys look thrilled, huh?

We took the boys to the Cherry Creek Mall and they had this great kids playground. It was all breakfast food. John Paul didn't really know what to think of the giant banana pieces.
But Jonathon was itchin' to climb into a big bowl of shredded wheat and blueberries.
John Paul was a little happier with the waffles. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the easy-over eggs or the bacon slides. They were quite entertaining too.
